As we wrap up 2025, we can’t help but feel grateful and proud of everything we’ve accomplished together. This year was nothing short of transformative for FLX Retreats; from expanding our portfolio to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Here’s a look back at the milestones that made this year so special and a glimpse into what’s coming in 2026!
Seneca Lake Treehouses: Two New Escapes Among the Trees
One of our biggest highlights this year was the addition of two brand-new treehouses to our Seneca Lake vacation rental portfolio: Blue Heron Haven and Cowbird Canopy. These whimsical treehouses join our existing favorites, Osprey Landing and Hawk Hideaway, bringing the total to four incredible treehouses designed for relaxation and adventure in the Finger Lakes.
Each treehouse now has its own private hot tub, perfect for soaking under the stars, and has been adorned with new décor to create a cozy, modern vibe. We also upgraded our lakefront fire pits, making evenings by the water even more magical for our guests.
But that’s not all! Construction is underway on our on-site lodge, a versatile space that will allow guests to host Finger Lakes weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats, and more. The lodge is expected to open in the spring of 2026, and we can’t wait to see the celebrations unfold on our beautiful property.
Treehouse Property Enhancements & New Partnerships
We’re always looking for ways to make your stay more seamless and enjoyable. This year, we added a new set of stairs behind Blue Heron Haven, providing easier access to the main road. We’ve also established exciting new partnerships with Red Tail Ridge Winery and Grapevine Country Tours, giving our guests curated experiences that showcase the best of Finger Lakes wine country.
Looking ahead to 2026, we have big plans:
- Paving on-site roads for smoother access
- Major landscaping projects to enhance the natural beauty of our property
- Launching event packages for weddings, reunions, and special occasions
Books for the treehouses are now open through November 2026, so if you’re dreaming of a Finger Lakes treehouse getaway don’t wait, our dates fill up fast!

Heritage Lake: Where Big Dreams Are Taking Shape
Heritage Lake has been a hub of creativity and transformation this year. Our most ambitious project? The ground-up build of three Hobbit Houses! From whimsical concept photos to real-life construction, these magical retreats are coming along beautifully and will welcome their first guests in summer 2026.
We’ve also been hard at work refreshing the rest of the property:
- Many cabins and buildings have been remodeled and refreshed
- The Chapel is next on our list for a stunning refurbishment, with plans to host Finger Lakes weddings and events soon
Community engagement was another highlight. Our Free Fishing Day brought nearly 100 community members together for a day of fun at Heritage Lake. It was a huge success, and we’re excited to host more family-friendly Finger Lakes activities like this in the future.
Conesus Condos & Coastal Cottage: Still Going Strong
Our beloved Conesus Condos and Coastal Cottage continue to be guest favorites, welcoming visitors from near and far for unforgettable lakeside escapes. These properties offer stunning views, cozy interiors, and all the comforts of home, perfect for a relaxing getaway any time of year.
